1. TV or radio?
TV for sure.... radio is still victim to cheesy local commercials.
2. On the radio: talk or music station?
Talk station. I prefer to listen to intelligent people on my hour-and-a-half drive home from work.. besides, the music stations are 80% - you guessed it- commercials.
3. Actual books or books-on-tape (or e-books)?
Actual books. Books on tape take too long to finish, and you can't flip back very easily to get something you might have missed before.
4. Actual newspaper, or web version?
I'd have to say web version... I like that you can read the online copy of just about any newspaper out there, and do words search to boot.
5. Wall Street Journal or National Enquirer?
Wall Street Journal, but just their Editorial pages.
6. TV news...news channel such as CNN, or your local broadcast news?
News channel.... Fox news, to be more specific.
7. A movie you've been looking forward to seeing gets bad reviews all around. See it anyway, or pass?
See it anyway! Never trust the critics - they've got foreign-film-ophilia, so much so that English is becoming their fifth language.
8. See movies when they first come out, or wait a few weeks for the lines at the theater to get shorter?
I usually like to wait, but if it's a reallllllllly good movie that I've been wanting to see for years (read: Lord of the Rings), then I'll jump right in first thing.
9. TV: cable, satellite dish, or just plain old antenna?
Cable. Satellites get messed up by the weather and space storms. Antenna.... well, this is the 2000's, buddy.
10. Thought-provoking question of the week: If you had to choose only one form of media to come into your home, which would you choose...print (newspapers, magazines) or electronic (TV, internet)? Why?
ELECTRONIC. You can search through myriads of information in seconds. You can customize what you want seen. Etc, etc.
